Knights,
Thank you for your support all season. I’m very proud of the resiliency that our team showed as we battled many forms of adversity this season. It was especially rewarding for our seniors to go out with a victory this past Friday.
As we prepare for the off-season, there are a couple of quick reminders I wanted to make you aware.
1) Banquet – Our banquet will be December 11th at 6 PM at First Baptist Church of Woodstock. Ticket information is being sent out via team moms.
2) Senior Bowl – The Cherokee County School District Senior Bowl is set for December 7th here at River Ridge. We will need volunteers to run the concessions and other work stations to help make this final game a successful one for all our seniors. More volunteer information will come out as details become available.
3) Player Gear – Please send your athlete with all issued gear to me at some point Thursday or Friday this week. Issued gear should include practice pants, practice jersey, navy RR football shorts, navy RR football dry fit shirt, and a girdle (some have their own girdle). Anything not returned will be treated much like a lost textbook.There will be a cost associated with not returning the item. For easiest collection, please have your athlete’s name on a bag when you turn the gear in. I will be checking it off one by one.
